Member of the Saint Columbkille community since 2017
I am excited to join the Saint Columbkille community. I hope to inspire my students to carry scientific inquiry through their daily lives. I encourage students to ask, “why?” about their world, and hope to provide them with the skills needed to find the answers. The curriculum is wonderfully hands-on, allowing everyone to “do” science, not just the adults. We also work hard on developing positive group-work etiquette, and I enjoy challenging my students to work collaboratively.
I am a graduate of Boston University where I studied Elementary Education and Deaf Studies. Outside of school, I enjoy dancing, playing the piano, and performing. I am passionate about environmental and social justice, and I will never say no to a good documentary! I also love reading, especially fiction, and my favorite vacation was to Harry Potter World in Florida. On weekends you can find me biking, reading with my cat Atticus Finch, or planning my next trip.
