On Wednesday, October 19, Saint Cols Grade 6 students took a field trip to the New Balance Track in Brighton with Student Support Coordinator Ms. McShane. Last year, Ms. McShane taught the now-Grade 6 students with a bullying prevention curriculum called Boston vs. Bullies presented by The Sports Museum.
New this year, Boston vs. Bullies has updated their curriculum with new athletes in the videos that discuss bullying and bullying prevention. The Saint Cols 6th graders were invited to a rollout event at the New Balance Track where AJ Greer of the Boston Bruins and Elizabeth Giguere of the Boston Pride spoke to the students about their experiences with bullying.
