On Friday, May 12, Saint Columbkille Partnership School students, teachers and staff welcomed more than 150 grandparents and VIPs (Very Important People). Participants gathered in the gym for a short introductory program, including remarks from Head of School Jen Kowieski, Chief Advancement & Enrollment Officer Kate Ward. Grade 6 student Isaac Novina spoke and Fr. Fitz said a prayer. Additionally, students performed a scene from the spring Drama Club production of Aladdin and music teacher Ms. Zani led a musical performance by the second grade. The group of attendees included about 150 grandparents and VIPs, including about 10 Saint Columbkille alumni. Attendees traveled from as far as China, Ireland and Seattle, WA.
"We are so thankful for you and the guidance, support and love you provide to ensure that this generation will make the world a better place," said Kate Ward about the event. "Our grandparents and VIPs bring so much light and joy to our community!"
