Saint Columbkille Chorus to Perform in Nation’s #1 Thanksgiving Parade

Saint Columbkille Partnership School is thrilled to announce that our school chorus, directed by Ms. Kiara Zani, will perform in the Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade this Saturday as part of America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration. The Chorus was featured on WCVB Newscenter 5 Eyeopener on Wednesday, sharing their excitement for the performance.

The festivities begin at 9:00 AM with Opening Ceremonies, followed by the parade’s kickoff at 10:00 AM. Starting at Plymouth Rock and marching along the historic waterfront, this event is celebrated as the #1 Thanksgiving parade in the nation. Our chorus will perform "We Are the World" on a beautifully decorated float, showcasing their talents and representing Saint Cols in this special celebration.

"We are honored to be invited to perform and take part in this cherished tradition," shared Ms. Kiara Zani, chorus director. "This opportunity allows us to showcase the incredible talents of our students while engaging them in the rich history of Plymouth and Thanksgiving. The song we’ll be performing carries a powerful message of unity, respect, acceptance, and love—values that align deeply with our school’s core mission."

The Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade is a unique event, visually bringing to life over four centuries of American history through beautifully crafted floats and live performances. It highlights moments from the Pilgrim era to the present day while entertaining visitors from across the country with vibrant music, historical themes, and creative displays.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Wollman family for their generous support in helping make this incredible opportunity possible for our students.

The parade will be broadcast live on WCVB at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, with a replay airing on Thanksgiving Day. Don’t miss the chance to watch our talented chorus in action!
