Co-Curricular Activities/ St. Col’s Clubs
Saint Columbkille Partnership School offers a comprehensive co-curricular program called St. Col's Clubs in order to extend the classroom to help students in grades 1-8 to develop in all areas of their lives: intellectually, physically, spiritually, emotionally and socially.
At Saint Columbkille Partnership School, we pride ourselves in offering a diverse activities program that guides our students’ holistic development and cultivates the competencies that all students will use at our school and beyond.
For students in grades 1 – 3, St. Col’s Clubs offer an opportunity for increased socialization and an introduction to different skills. These clubs are designed to provide students with guided discovery in order to reveal interests and talents. Overall, these clubs provide a springboard from which students move into the full activities program in the upper grades.
For students in grades 4 – 8, St. Col’s clubs offer the opportunity to hone and develop skills of interest and become competent in areas of intrigue as well as continuing to introduce students to new skills and hidden talents. For older students, clubs provide a safe place for mentorship after school and cultivate lasting relationships with teachers and faculty members. Students are challenged in all aspects of their lives and benefit from the freedom to explore in a caring and secure environment.
Boston College’s student service organization, 4Boston, partners with St. Col’s Clubs. Approximately 25 student volunteers participate by facilitating clubs, helping with homework, and tutoring students one-on one.
If you have questions about clubs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please fill out the form below and identify the clubs you would like your child to participate in ASAP. Co-curricular clubs and activities meet after the academic day ends, from 3 to 4 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Most clubs begin on September 9 unless otherwise noted.
There are a limited number of spots for participation in each club. Every effort will be made to allow for all interested students to participate in St. Col’s Clubs . However, students are not guaranteed placement in every club for which he or she has signed up. Wait lists will be generated after a club has been fully enrolled.
