I am passionate about traveling – I lived in Spain for four years prior to moving to Boston. In college, I studied in New Zealand and Senegal. I have had a chance to travel extensively throughout Europe, and have been to many other places worldwide, including Israel, Fiji, Australia, Costa Rica and Morocco. There are so many places I’d still love to go – South America, Southeast Asia, India… I just need to find the time!
As an educator, I strive to make science accessible and enjoyable for my students. I want them to feel encouraged and empowered to explore the world around them. I believe this leads to a deeper appreciation for the natural world, as well as a sense of duty to care for God’s creation. In Elementary Science, students will explore a variety of topics related to earth, life, physical, and chemical science, as well as engineering and robotics.
