Kate Ward Director of Institutional Advancement

Member of the Saint Columbkille community since 2015

Kate Ward comes to Saint Columbkille with more 20 years in the non-profit sector. She began her career as a teacher in a one-room schoolhouse in Vermont, and has worked in non-profit ever since, most recently with the Greater Boston YMCA.

Kate is a product of Catholic schools, attending Saint Christopher’s School in NY, followed by Siena College in Loudonville, NY and later the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. She now lives in Needham, MA with her husband, Mark and their three children.

“Working at Saint Col’s capitalizes on my skills as well as my passion: making sure that a high-quality Catholic education is available for all, regardless of ability to pay. I know firsthand how an elementary Catholic education can serve as an excellent foundation for life-long learning and a commitment to helping others. I am honored to help families ensure that their children have the same opportunities I did. “

Kate enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She loves exercise, good food and walking her dog Comet.
