Saint Columkbille Summer Programming focuses on encouraging, enhancing, and expanding students’ skills during the summer months to further students’ development and academic achievement. There are several programs offered to students in Pre-K through grade 7.
STEM Academy (Students Entering Grades 5, 6, and 7)
A six-week STEM Academy is offered from July 9th to August 17th to students entering grades 5, 6, and 7. Students will deepen their understanding of STEM concepts through hands-on lab, fieldwork, and engagement in the engineering design process. This program is offered to students at Saint Columbkille Partnership School as well as other schools.
Summer Program (Students Entering Pre-K through Grade 4)
An eight-week summer program is offered to students entering Pre-K through grade 4. This program provides a range of academic, enrichment and recreational activities. This program is offered to students at Saint Columbkille Partnership School as well as other area schools.
Students from the Japanese school, Showa Boston, visited our sixth-grade class to discuss similarities and differences between the culture in Japan and the culture here in the United States. The sixth-grade students were able to ask them questions about their educational experiences as well.
