STCPS Endowment Fund Established in Honor of Peter McLaughlin
On Tuesday, December 18 at an annual Christmas celebration at Boston College, Saint Columbkille teachers, staff, donors and alumni honored Mr. Peter McLaughlin with the establishment of an endowment fund to help support the school’s financial aid program. McLaughlin is a long-time member and past chair of the Saint Columbkille Partnership School Board of Trustees.
“We are grateful to Bob and Judy Winston who recently a made the donation to initiate the endowment fund in Peter’s name,” says Dr. William Gartside, Head of School. “The Winstons are passionate about Catholic education in our community and we thank them for helping advance our mission.”
For the past 10 years, Mr. McLaughlin has helped the school raise money to support families in need of tuition assistance. The endowment will be used to supplement the existing financial aid fund at Saint Columbkille.
Saint Columbkille will be hosting a celebration event in January for school families, in order to thank Peter for his years of service to the school and celebrate the endowment.
